  • 10 weeks throwing course (typically on Wednesday & Thursday evenings)

  • 6 weeks advanced throwing course

The first workshop of this series focuses on the fundamentals of mould making. It introduces plaster as a primary material, exploring its versatility in slip-casting, press-moulding, and creating uniform components like handles and plates. You will gain a practical understanding of working with plaster, with a strong emphasis on safety and essential studio care to prevent clay contamination and plumbing blockages.

Glazing is not included in this course, and there are no material or firing charges if you choose not to keep your work. However, if you do wish to keep your pieces, you have the option to attend a separate glazing session.
