Studio Access

Group Workshops

Are you already familiar with our studio?

If you've participated in our pottery courses or have equivalent pottery experience and are familiar with working in a shared studio space, you may want to use our space to continue practicing and focus on your own projects.

Our studio is not equipped to support production throwing or mass making. Instead, we offer a fun and relaxing environment where members can experiment, refine their skills, and simply enjoy the creative process.

Please note that each member is limited to firing a maximum of 15 kg of clay per month on average. However, we're happy to support occasional commissions you take on and can provide additional storage shelf space for a small extra fee if needed.

We offer two options to access our studio facilities.

  • Drop-in Sessions offer access to the studio space and facilities without a commitment.

  • TOKOBO Plus (4-weekly Membership a minimum term of three months) offers more flexibility and benefits, with four options available to suit your availability.

  • Drop-in Session

Flexibility to attend based on your schedule

Ideal for occasional use and spontaneous creative sessions

    Ceramic Studio Open Access
  • TOKOBO Plus

Drop-in Sessions

Throwing Workshop

Our drop-in session offers the most flexible access to pottery facilities.

This option is available to those who have previously attended our long courses, or who have equivalent experience and are familiar with working in a shared pottery studio. Drop-in sessions give you access to the studio space, including clays, glazes, and equipment.

Please email us to check availability for a brief introduction during your first session. If you’re new to our studio, include a short description of yourself and your work, with a few images of your works.

Please note that the introductory session is part of your first drop-in and requires a standard booking in advance.

All you need is to book an available slot on our booking page prior to your visit. Each session is open for 3.5 hrs between 10:00 - 13:30, 14:00 - 17:30 or 18:00 - 21:30. Arrive on time to make the most of your allocated time. Booking closes 1 hr before each session.

A single session is £35 and includes access to a wheel and/or work surface during its designated time slot. However, please note that booking does not guarantee wheel access, especially when classes are taking place concurrently.

Drop-in sessions do not include teaching, and participants are expected to work independently with confidence. Kindly respect our studio rules and show consideration for your fellow makers. We will be available to assist with any issues you may encounter.

You have three membership options depending on how often you’d like to visit the studio and Off-Peak membership. You only need a basic understanding of ceramics, adherence to our studio rules (including Health and Safety awareness), enabling you to work comfortably and independently while sharing the studio space with others.
